The Park Chalet Hosts Ocean Beach Oktoberfest

The Park Chalet hosts Ocean Beach Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 26 with free live musical entertainment provided by Deutscher Musikverein of San Francisco, a 25 piece oompah brass band, and by the San Francisco Accordion Society. Both of these bands are comprised of volunteer musicians interested in cultural preservation and they will be playing from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

A litre (34 fl oz) sized Ocean Beach Oktoberfest decorative souvenir beer stein, filled with a litre of beer, will be on sale for $17.00. A refill of that stein will be offered for $11.00. A German-style Düsseldorf Altbier, a hand crafted micro brew from The Beach Chalet, will be poured.

Complementing the musical entertainment and the beer will be the availability of Bratwurst sausages, BBQ favorites and other food specials appropriate to the occasion. The presence of servers dressed up as Bavarian barmaids will add to the festivities.
