Ozumo Restaurant in Oakland will celebrate the spirit of Japan’s annual Cherry Blossom Festival on Thursday, April 8 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. Highlights will include special drinks and food offered all evening in the bar and lounge at Happy Hour prices, DJ entertainment and models showcasing traditional Japanese attire. There will be no cover charge and no reservations are required.

On Thursday, April 22, 2010, McCormick & Kuleto’s Seafood Restaurant will honor National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day by offering a free children’s meal with an ice cream dessert to all children who come to the restaurant between 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. accompanied by a parent who purchases a lunch entree.

In addition, each child will receive a gift of a parent/child photograph mounted on a magnet, compliments of McCormick & Kuleto’s.
